Hollands: "We Have To Be Bang On It"

16 September 2016

Experienced midfielder appreciates how hard it is to get a result at Blundell Park.

Crewe Alexandra midfielder Danny Hollands appreciates what a tough place Blundell Park is to get a result. The former Portsmouth and Bournemouth man knows that a passionate following and hard- working team always makes for an intriguing encounter away from home - but the experienced midfielder believes Crewe have the capabilities to extend our unbeaten run to four games in all competitions.

Danny, who scored his first goal for the club in the 2-0 win over Exeter last weekend, told us: “We will have to bang on it at Grimsby because it is always a tough place to go and get a result.

“We want to keep our little run going and keep picking up points and we are looking forward to going again but we will have to work hard and earn the right to play our football. They won at Luton last week, so they will be just as confident as we are.

“We have been to some tough places this season, played well and managed to get a result. We have shown that we can go away from home and perform well and that is what we will need to do this weekend.

“It will be a tough test against a decent side but our form is good, confidence is high and it is up to us to make sure we get our heads down and get the job done.”
