In-form winger will return to Chelsea for assessment of his shoulder injury.

On-loan Chelsea winger, Alex Kiwomya, will return to his parent club for further assessment after the club’s join leading goalscorer dislocated his shoulder in the dying minutes of our 2-0 win at Grimsby on Saturday.

The 20-year-old was taken to neighbouring hospital after the game to have his shoulder re-positioned before travelling home later that night.

Kiwomya, who has scored four goals in League Two this season, will undertake an MRI scan on Wednesday and a rehabilitation plan will be devised once the result of the second scan is clear.

No definite time span on his length of recovery has been determined at this stage.
