Yeovil Aiming For Hat-Trick Of Wins

19 October 2016

Glovers have recently achieved back-to-back 1-0 wins.

Darren Way will bring his climbing Yeovil Town side to Gresty Road this weekend on the back of two 1-0 wins over Wycombe and Newport. Three points for the Glovers would now see them go level on points with Crewe but with an inferior goal difference.

The Alex will be aiming to get back to winning ways after drawing four of our last five league games 1-1.

Steve Davis is expecting another tough assignment against the Somerset based club. He said: “There are no easy games in this division. I don’t think there is too much between the teams and it is all about how you perform on the day.

“It will be no different against Yeovil. We will have to work hard and match them. It will be another challenge for us because they will come up with a plan to prevent us playing our football.

“They had a good win last weekend and have come away from the bottom places, so they will be confident and looking to keep their little run going after winning the last two.

“We have to keep going. There is no need for panic because we are not far off turning those draws into wins. We need to improve on that and it is important that we try and win the majority of our home games because that would put us in a good position.”
