Steve Looks Ahead To Yeovil Clash

21 October 2016

Boss ready to battle for three points

Steve Davis is looking forward to getting back onto the Gresty Road turf after back-to-back away days, and he's hoping to maintain the unbeaten home league record.

Despite draw the last two to Blackpool and Mansfield on the home patch, Davis is buoyed by the six-game unbeaten start at The Alexandra Stadium - and is targeting a win to make that seven this weekend.

Steve said: "I always try and pick a team that's capable of winning the game, whether I make changes or not, we'll wait and see until tomorrow.

"We're all ready and prepared for tomorrow and we're ready for that challenge that Yeovil are going to give us.

"We want to go unbeaten for as long as we can in the league at home and we've got another game tomorrow to keep that going.

"Yeovil are a strong physical side and will prove to be a different kind of test to us than the last couple of games, and we have to stand up to that."
