Leyton Orient Paper Review

What the press made of the London victory

The Chronicle
Crewe Alex notched their first win in eight attempts as goals from George Cooper and Harry Davis earned an impressive 2-0 success at Leyton Orient on Saturday.
The Railwaymen had not tasted victory since mid-September but did not look a side short on confidence as they took a thoroughly-deserved three points on the road.
The win put them back in the top seven of League Two as they triumphed over the O’s for the first time in nine attempts.
Manager Steve Davis said: “We’ve always found it difficult when we have come here and I was surprised at times how easy it was for us to control the game.

The Sentinel
Crewe Alexandra got backing to winnings on the road as they won 2-0 at Leyton Orient.
Goals in the first-half from George Cooper and Harry Davis put them in control and it was a lead they never looked like relinquishing after the break.
After seven winless games, it was a big lift for the Alex as they head in to their back-to-back cup games against Cheltenham and Chesterfield sitting in the play-off spots.

East London Advertiser
Poor defending cost Leyton Orient again as they suffered yet another League Two defeat at Brisbane Road this time to Crewe Alexandra.
The Railwaymen opened the scoring against the run of play in the 33rd minute, but were so comfortable afterwards.
Alberto Cavasin’s team struggled to create chances throughout and the home fans chanted ‘Becchetti out!’ numerous times.
