Chris Dagnall pleased to score 100th league goal but says points more valuable.
Chris Dagnall says it was a useful point to pick up against Mansfield Town on Saturday after falling behind just after half-time but the experienced striker believes we had enough to go on and collect all three points. Dagnall tucked home Zoumana Bakayogo’s low cross five minutes after Pat Hoban had headed the Stags ahead. It was Dagnall's 100th career league goal and secured the Alex a point.
Following the 1-1 draw with Mansfield, Daggers told crewealex.net: “It was important that we were not beaten on Saturday and we responded well to equalise. It was important we got a point after being beaten at Wycombe in the week but if I am honest we were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t quite push on and get the three points.
