Steve Hoping To Have Fully Fit Squad After Break

29 November 2016

Injured players set to return

Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis is hoping to have a fully fit squad to choose from for the Club's next league game after an enforced two week break.

The team don't have any midweek or weekend commitments over the next ten days due to the FA Cup First Round exit, with the next scheduled fixture vs Crawley Town at Gresty Road on Saturday 10 December.

Davis is hoping to have a number of his senior players back available after injury, with Zoumana Bakayogo, Billy Bingham & George Ray all expected to return to the fold during the rest period.

Those three recovering would give the management team a fully fit compliment, & Steve is looking forward to having his full squad back together.

He said: "They're all at the back end of their rehabilitation now. All three of them are not far off to be fair & they'll all join in this week.

"It will be good to get them training again, some quality time back out on the training field with no game at the weekend.

"There's no point in rushing them now. We'll make sure they're right & make them get a full week training next week before the Crawley game."
