Steve Davis says on-loan winger is beginning to show form again after injury.
Steve Davis believes that his on-loan winger Alex Kiwomya is beginning to show the form he showed before his untimely shoulder injury.
Kiwomya, 20, scored his sixth goal of his impressive loan spell to fire Crewe into the lead against Plymouth Argyle but we failed to hold onto that advantage and slipped to an unfortunate 2-1 defeat to the league leaders.
The on-loan Chelsea youngster has now made six appearances since returning from the dislocated shoulder he suffered away at Grimsby Town in mid-September.
Steve Davis told crewealex.net: “Alex is getting back to the level he showed before he suffered his shoulder injury. He is getting back to form and he took his goal extremely well on Saturday. It was a very composed finish from him again.
“He needed a bit of time after missing a number of weeks and it does take a bit of time from a psychological point of view when you suffer an injury like that.
“He did tire a bit towards the end of the Plymouth game but he is a great athlete and he recovers well.
He added: ”He is still young and learning his trade. He is using his pace effectively to get at his opponents and has had a great impact for us this season. He now looks likehe is getting back to his early form."
