Armed Forces personnel can attend Alex's Remembrance fixture
Crewe Alexandra’s will support the ‘Tickets for Troops’ initiative when the Club hosts the annual Remembrance weekend game against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 12 November.
The Sky Bet League Two clash against the Pilgrims will be used to commemorate those who lost their lives on active service as Remembrance Day follows on Sunday 13 November.
Tickets for Troops provides free tickets to members of the Armed Forces for a variety of sporting, musical and cultural events. The service offers serving personnel and those medically discharged from the forces since 2001, the well-deserved opportunity to enjoy an event of their choice with their friends and families.
Crewe Alexandra's Stadium Operations Manager, Bev Dyer, explained: “The Club is very proud to be a supporter of a very worthy cause in Tickets for Troops.
“Given that the Plymouth Argyle fixture falls on Remembrance Weekend, it is only right that we offer an opportunity for service men and women to attend the game.
“Hopefully this will contribute to a good crowd to get behind the players!"
