Boss hoping James Jones will be fit enough to travel

Steve Davis is hoping that his Scotland U-21 midfielder James Jones will recover from a tight hamstring to be fit enough to travel to London later today. Jones underwent a scan after complaining of a tight hamstring following our FA Cup exit to Cheltenham Town on Tuesday evening.

Jones had some tightness in the muscle but he has elected to train in today;s final session to see if he suffers any reaction.

Steve said: “Jonah had a scan and all seems ok but we’ll have to see how he get through the training session today. He wants to train and if he comes through that with no reaction then we are hopeful he will travel with us.

“We have got one or two niggles and it can happen after a succession of games, and we’ll just have to see what sort of shape we are in tomorrow.”
