You can watch former Alex greats in the Everall Derby this weekend at the Cumberland Sports Ground.

The annual ‘Everall Derby’ will be taking place at the Cumberland Sports Ground, Crewe, on Saturday 28th May with a 2.30pm kick-off time.

Former Crewe Alexandra favourites such as Steve Jones, Rodney Jack, Lee Bell, Kenny Lunt, Dele Adebola and Luke Varney are all down to feature in the charity match.

The former England and West Ham winger Trevor Sinclair and our own Nicky Maynard are also set to be there on the day, as is the now Port Vale striker AJ Leitch-Smith.

The match is organised to raise money for the Christie Charity and for the Gareth Jones Fund. Sadly, local footballer Gareth passed away in 2013 and brothers Carl and Simon Everall have organised the game with all proceeds going towards the two charities.
