O'Neill & Udoh net in defeat at Tractor Boys
Crewe Alexandra Under 21's fell to a 4-2 defeat at Ipswich Town despite Daniel Udoh's first goal in a Crewe shirt & Liam O'Neill netting after his long injury lay-off.The hosts went 2-0 up on the 15 & 30 minute marks, Monty Patterson & Myles Kenlock finding the net.
Conor McKendry stretched that advantage to 3-0 moments into the second half as Crewe were caught napping, before Udoh started the fight-back on 76 minutes, firing in past the keeper after his initial attempt was saved.
Just four minutes later, and O'Neill latched onto Udoh's flick-on to fire home to bring it back to 3-2, but the hosts killed the game off late on on the counter with Charlie Brown slotting home.
Perry Ng was sent off in injury time for dissent as Crewe lost back to back games following last week's defeat at Cardiff.
