On-form Bluebirds put Alex Morris' side to the sword
Crewe Alexandra Under 21's suffered a 4-0 defeat to high-flying Cardiff City in South Wales, ending Alex Morris' side's three game winning run.The Bluebirds were 2-0 up inside ten minutes, Robbie Patten and Rhys Healey smashing Cardiff in front.
Theo Wharton added a third just before half-time and Healey struck again just before the full-time whistle to record the victory for the home side.
Morris' side had beaten Leeds, Hull & Birmingham over the previous three game-weeks and must now look forward to the final games of the campaign at Ipswich, Brentford and Barnsley before finishing up at Gresty Road against Bristol City in mid-April.
