Inman Expected To Return For Blackpool Clash

15 March 2016

Brad Inman hopeful of facing Seasiders in crucial League One clash this weekend.

Steve Davis is confident that he will have his leading goalscorer Brad Inman available for this weekend’s crucial League One meeting with Blackpool. Inman missed the trip to Gillingham at the weekend due to a slight groin strain - but the Alex boss expects the former Scotland Youth International to train later this week and declare himself available.

It would be a massive boost to have the in-form forward available for one of our biggest games of the season. Inman has scored nine goals this season and been one of our most consistent performers.

Ahead of this weekend’s home game with the Seasiders, Steve told us: “Brad will see a consultant again soon and hopefully he will be able to train Thursday and Friday and be available for the weekend.

“He has some inflammation that has caused him some discomfort but he is eager to play and help the team. We may have to look at the Easter games with him because there is a short recovery period.

Steve added: “We will have to see how we deal with the Easter fixtures but Brad is desperate to do well and having him available again and Lauri (Dalla Valle) back from injury will give us better options. They could come into the team and make a difference to us.”
