Boss says we have manage the level of expectation levels of youngsters correctly.

Dario Gradi says it is important that not too much is expected of youngsters’ Callum Ainley and Charlie Kirk this season. The Club’s Director of Football feels that expectation levels in regards to the two teenagers has to remain realistic after both of them burst onto the scene last season.

Gradi feels they both have the potential and ability to follow in the footsteps of Nick Powell and Max Clayton as real high-fliers, but the club’s former legendary manager says that we have to remain patient with them as they find their feet in the first team.

Dario told crewealex.net: “We have to be careful not to expect too much of them. We have to keep that expectation on a realistic level.

“They have made the step up into the first-team and played well. They play well together, they combine well and that is because they have come through together. It is unique and they can read each others game and have their own ideas. They link up well.

They will learn a lot next season and they just have to keep on working to improve their game.” “They are both very good players and we have high hopes for both of them.
