in Surrey and Dario believes that he remains the best man for the job. England take on Wales later today hoping to record their first win of the tournament after drawing 1-1 with Russia in the opening game. together
Dario told the club’s official web-site: “I’ve known Roy for a long time, ever since we were coaching together down in Surrey. He is a great guy and a real football man. He is the best man for the job and I hope he does well.
“If he does well then I’m sure he would like to stay on and he should because he is building a good young side and it would be a shame to get rid of him so quickly.
“If they do decide to go in a different direction then for goodness sake they have to get an English guy. I am not for all these foreign coaches because it seems like we cannot produce any coaches in this country when I know we can.”
