Billy Bingham produces consistent performance against Trotters.

Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that midfielder Billy Bingham has shown the Alex fans what he is capable of with a dominating display against Bolton Wanderers on Friday evening. Bingham produced one of his most consistent displays in a 1-1 and the Crewe boss was delighted with the former Dagenham man.

Following the 1-1 draw with Bolton, Steve said: “It was a much better performance from Billy. I was really pleased with his performance.

“He reached a really good level and showed what he can do. He has had a stop/start time with us so far due to some injuries but we are hoping he will have a much better season with us and become a key man.

“He has now shown what he is capable of and now he has to do again and keep on improving. We are hoping he will have a good season with us.”
