Ryan Wintle ruled out with fracture of the foot.

Crewe Alexandra can confirm that midfielder Ryan Wintle has been ruled out of action for at least a month after suffering a fracture of the foot. Wintle has made three substitute appearances for the first-team this season but has not featured since replacing Adam King against Oldham back in November.

  Wintle, 18, is not expected to return to action until the end of February and his untimely injury leaves boss Steve Davis short of midfield players with the news that Billy Bingham has also suffered a slight hamstring injury. The club are hopeful that Bingham’s injury is not too serious.
