Southampton goal poacher to join up with his new team-mates in readiness for Millwall clash
Crewe Alexandra have signed the Southampton forward Ryan Seager on a one month youth loan. The Yeovil-born Seager, 19, has been handed the number 33 shirt and will join up with his new Crewe team-mates in readiness for this weekend’s encounter at Millwall.
The former England Under-17 International possesses the number 45 shirt at Southampton and he made his professional debut for the Saints in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup against Crystal Palace on 24 January 2015. He also came on as a late substitute in Southampton’s FA Premier League game against Swansea City in February 2015. He signed a four-year professional deal that summer.
As a prolific goal scorer in Academy football, Seager was an important part of the Southampton U21 side that lifted the Premier League Cup after a 2-1 extra time victory over Blackburn Rovers last season. He scored the opening goal in the final as the Saints won the televised encounter.
Everyone would like to welcome Ryan to the club.
