Inman: "We Have To Move On Quickly"

20 January 2016

Brad admits that Swindon result was a tough one to get over.

Brad Inman may have returned to the Crewe starting line-up with two goals in the first half at Swindon Town but he says that his goals counted for little as the home side fought back to win the game 4-3 in stoppage time.

Inman is now hoping that we can bounce back from Saturday’s disappointing defeat at the County Ground with a positive response against Wigan Athletic at Gresty Road this weekend.

Brad told Crewe Alex PlayerHD: “The Swindon result was a tough one to get over because we played well in the first half. Obviously it is still hurting but we have quickly get over it and move on.

“Our individual mistakes were punished at Swindon and when we don’t do our jobs properly you get punished by good players. We know all about Nicky (Ajose) from his time with us and that he takes chances.

“It just seems that when you are down there that everything is against you but when you go away from home and score three goals at a place like Swindon then you should be winning the game.

“We are all focussed on Wigan this weekend and aiming to put things right. We know it will be another tough game and a battle down there but we know what we have to do.”
