Inman Pushing For A Recall

13 January 2016

Brad Inman is hoping to push himself back in contention for the trip to Swindon.

Brad Inman will be aiming to land himself a recall to the Crewe Alexandra starting XI after being given an extended rest by boss Steve Davis. The attacking midfielder was granted a rest after being on the receiving end of some hefty tackles but he has been used sparingly as an impact substitute in the club’s last four games.

Inman was one of our most consistent performers in the early part of the season, scoring twice in our opening five matches.

With Adam King and Ryan Lowe returning to their respective clubs after their loan deal expired, Inman is certainly hoping he has done enough to earn himself a recall for the trip to Swindon this weekend.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “With Adam and Ryan going back then we are two players less going into the Swindon game and while that is disappointing for us, it will give an opportunity to someone else.

“Brad falls into that category. He has a rest after picking up one or two knocks. He looks refreshed and ready to do again.

“He has been outstanding in training and I’m sure he will come back stronger now because of that rest.

He added: “We know what Brad is capable of and hopefully he can have a big impact in the second half of the season for us.”
