Inman Can Make The Difference

SD on the Aussie winger

Steve Davis has praised winger Brad Inman for his two goals at Swindon on his return to the side.

The 24-year-old came into the team after the departures of Ryan Lowe and Adam King and produced an explosive opening 45 minutes to net his two goals and prove a constant menace to the Swindon back-line.

The Manager has now challenged Inman to become a key player on a more regular basis, and to make sure he’s on his game for a full 90 minutes.

Steve said: “We know he’s inconsistent, he’s always been that type. He could have had a hat-trick before half-time with a shot from the angle where he should’ve done better.

“He was terrific, a real problem and thorn first-half, and then fizzled out second half and didn’t get involved in the game as much.

“He took his goals really well and showed great composure for both strikes. We’ve been looking for him to do that all season and he’s done it twice today and we hope that gives him confidence.

“I don’t want to be critical because first half he was terrific and he’s got to do that for two halves. He’s got to put two halves together along with the other ten players and if they can do that then we perhaps come away with a good result.”
