George Ray and LDV are recovering well from ankle injuries but haven't started running yet.
Central defender George Ray and forward Lauri Dalla Valle are both making progress in their rehabilitation from their ankle injuries. Both Ray and LDV have been side-lined with broken ankles and have been confined to working out at the club’s training ground gym.
Ray, who suffered his injury in the final minute of a 3-2 win at Colchester United back in November is ahead of our Finnish forward.
Dalla Valle suffered his injury back in late November during our 2-0 win over Leeds United in an Under-21 fixture.
Steve Davis said of his injured duo: “Both are making progress but they are just doing their gym work and have not started running again yet.
“George is ahead of Lauri because of the time they were injured and the next stage for both of them will be out there running and building up their fitness levels again.
“They are both working hard on their strengthening work but you never quite know where they are until there is an impact on the ankle. They are some time off that yet.”
