Defender to visit consultant on Wednesday.

Club Captain Harry Davis will visit a consultant in London on Wednesday with a view to returning to training.

The Crewe Alexandra defender is closing in on a return to full training after suffering a knee injury against Walsall back in September. His injury-hit season has limited him to just four appearances but his hard work in rehab has resulted in light at the end of the tunnel.

Davis will travel to the capital this week and if he is given the green light will be able to return to full-time training. Once he has built up his resistance work to that, he is likely to feature for the club’s Development Squad before eyeing a return to first team action.
