Steve Davis says he like former Alsager midfielder to follow Cooper and commit his future to the club.
After securing the future of George Cooper on a new contract, Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that he would like midfielder Ryan Wintle to follow suit soon. The club are in process of talking to some of our younger players about their futures and the former Alsager midfielder is one Davis would like to keep for the future.
The 18-year-old has made three substitute appearances for the first-team this season and has been one of our most consistent performances in our Development Squad.
Steve told crewealex.net: “Having now seen George commit his future to the club, we are now looking to get Ryan (Wintle) sorted as quickly as possible. He is another one of our younger players we would like to keep.
“We would like that to be resolved as quickly as we can and we will talk with him again soon. I’m sure there won’t be too much of problem.
The boss added: “We are looking at the squad and what we would like to do going forward. It is always on going and it is always nice to keep our younger players. They form the basis of the squad and our future and then we look at what we need and would like to bring in to supplement them.”
