Inman In Form Of His Career

16 February 2016

Brad Inman has developed into a game changer for the Alex.

The in-form Brad Inman continues to improve as our potential game changer according to Crewe boss Steve Davis. Inman headed home his sixth goal in six games to seal a valuable point against promotion chasing Walsall at the weekend. His return of 9 goals for the season now sees him lead the club’s goalscoring charts following Ryan Colclough’s departure to Wigan Athletic during the January transfer window. Colclough left the club with 8 goals to his name.

Ahead of this evening’s clash at Spotland, Steve said of Inman: “It is six goals in six games for Brad and he is beginning to score different types of goals. He used to score the spectacular ones but he is now getting in the box and taking chances.

“We have encouraged him to get in the opposition box and he got his reward on Saturday. He made a great run from the edge of the box and read the situation well to direct his header.

“It was a great finish from someone who is not renowned for his heading ability. I haven’t seen him score with his head before, so that is something else he has added to his game.

He added: “He has aspects of his game that he can still improve on but he has become a real match winner for us.”
