Boss Wants Momentum To Continue

16 February 2016

Alex boss says recent form has shown that his players can compete against anyone on their day.

Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis wants our momentum to continue with another positive result against Rochdale this evening.

The Railwaymen travel to Spotland on the back of a run of five games unbeaten and the Alex will be aiming to record a league double over Keith Hill’s side after we previously defeated them 2-0 at the Alexandra Stadium ten days ago.

The Crewe Alexandra boss told the club’s official web-site: “We are five games unbeaten now and we have been able to build some real momentum. We want that to continue for as long as we can.

“We have played well of late and managed to draw against two of the top three teams in the division, so the players feel they can beat anyone on the day. We have shown that we can compete against anyone and get a result.

He added: “I have always believed that and now we have shown that we can do it.”
