SD:"I'm Still Confident We Can Score Goals"

Boss not worried by run of goalless games

Boss Steve Davis has reiterated his unwavering confidence is his attacking players to re-find the scoring touch after his side drew blanks in three of the last four games.

Working on the attacking approach in training this week in the build up to the trip to Cambridge, Steve is challenging his whole team to find the goal trail & to contribute to creating more chances.

Davis said: "Goalscorers will always be goalscorers. They do have spells where they don't score, but then you rely on other people to step up but we haven't had other people stepping up.

"I'm still confident that we can score goals. The front four have been scoring this season with Jonah in there as well, but we need more goals from the defenders as well.

"Our attacking players will regain that form if chances are presented to them & I think one of the things we must look at is if we are creating enough chances for the front four & are they creating enough for each other.

"That's the bit that we'll be working on & having a look at this week. Why aren't we getting clear-cut chances. Is it us, is it the opposition, what can we do to do better."
