Bingham To Resume Full Training

2 December 2016

Bingham and Ray to return to training.

Steve Davis is hoping to have a fully fit George Ray and Billy Bingham to call upon if necessary. Defender Ray played the full 90 minutes in the club’s Development Squad defeat to Nottingham Forest on Monday and midfielder Bingham is to resume full training on Monday.

Bingham has not featured for the first team since coming on as a late substitute away at Leyton Orient back in October. The former Dagenham man has been struggling with a problematic nerve in his calf muscle.

Ray has been struggling with hip and groin problems but successfully made a return for the Under-23s on Monday.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “The injured players are coming back and I’m sure that we will have George Ray and Billy Bingham with us in training on Monday. George came through a 23 game on Monday and Billy is expected to join in again.

“There is no major rush with them because they have been out for a considerable time but a week of full training will do them the world of good.”
