Crewe Alex unseeded for second round
Crewe Alexandra are set to find out their EFL Cup Second Round opponents this evening (Wednesday) after the thrilling first round victory over Sheffield United.The draw will take place live on Sky Sports following the climax of the Luton Town vs Aston Villa tie, approx 10pm.
Crewe will be unseeded for the draw and could face a home or away tie at one of 13 Premier League Clubs, or Norwich and Newcastle - plus a number of other seeded sides, decided following tonight's four matches.
The Alex last reached round two in 2014/15, pulling out Bolton Wanderers at home after knocking Barnsley out in round one.
