Inman Out For Three Weeks

4 April 2016

Crewe lose leading scorer with ankle injury.

Crewe Alexandra are preparing not to have leading scorer Brad Inman available for the next three weeks. Inman, who has struck nine times this season, missed Saturday’s disappointing 3-0 defeat to Peterborough United after receiving a knock on his ankle.

Inman is now in rehab with head physio Rob Sharp after suffering intense swelling around the ankle and a slight tear in one of the ligaments. It is hoped that Inman will be available for the last few games of the season.

Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “Brad is injured and we expect him to be out for at least two to three weeks. He got a kick on his ankle and there was a lot of swelling around it.

“He also has a slight tear in one of the ligaments, so I can only go on what Rob (Sharp) is telling me and he is expected to be out for that period. We are hoping he will get back quicker but it will depend on how quickly it heals and his rehab.”
