Inman And LDV Back In Contention

29 April 2016

Brad Inman and Lauri back in contention for Doncaster visit

Brad Inman and Lauri Dalla Valle are back in contention for tomorrow’s final home game of the season against Doncaster Rovers. Inman came on as a second half substitute against Oldham and then featured in a behind closed doors friendly against Stoke City on Monday. After coming through unscathed in that friendly, Inman is now back in contention for a start.

The club’s Finnish striker Dalla Valle has recently been struck down by illness, but he has returned to training and made himself available for selection for the visit of Doncaster.

Steve Davis has hinted at making one or two changes to see how certain partnership may develop going forward.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We have a virtually full squad to choose from and I may make one or two changes tomorrow to try different partnerships on the pitch. We may change one or two but it won’t be anything significant.

“We have Brad and Lauri available and they will be in the squad. I won’t weaken the team too much because Doncaster and the teams around them are still in a relegation fight and we want to do our best to win the game for our supporters.

“It would be nice to get that win in our final home game.”
