Crewe Alexandra players play role in local community programmes.
As part of our commitment to the PFA (Professional Footballers Association) the Crewe Alex players are involved in ‘player visits’ during the season. These range from visiting schools to local hospitals or having a photographs’ with sponsors and supporters before games etc.
The players will be volunteering to visit local schools and community groups to encourage health and well-being.
Some players have put themselves forward to act as ‘Ambassadors’ for a certain theme that the Community Programme are involved in.
Our Player ambassadors for season 2015/16 are:
SPORTS PARTICIPATION – JOE HOWELL
EDUCATION/SCHOLARSHIPS – FRASER MURDOCK/JAMES JONES
HEALTH – DAVID FOX/HARRY DAVIS
EQUALITY – RYAN WINTLE/TOBY MULLARKEY
Ray Walker - The Community Department would like to thank the players and management team for their involvement this season. The player visits not only help generate interest in the club and community activities but these young people are also the supporters of the future.
