Steve says lessons will have to be learnt from mistakes made this season.
Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that he has already been in discussions with his players, staff and the board of directors about the improvements that need to be made throughout the club.
The Alex boss and his staff will review a disappointing season but have also started preparations for next season and fulfilling our ambition of bouncing straight back up from League Two.
Steve told crewealex.net: “There has been talks between everyone at the club, with the players and staff. I have also spoken with members of the board and the chairman and we have discussed many aspects of the club to make sure we improve.
“We are looking to move forward and come back stronger but when a relegation occurs there are often things that crop up that may not have cropped up before.
“We have discussed why the season didn’t go according to plan and what we want to do next season. We have all fallen short and know it is up to me and the players to get us going again.
He added: “We all want to the lift the supporters and get them behind the club because that is always important. I want to be winning football matches again and we need to get back to winning games as quickly as possible.”
