U21’s Lose Out To A Strong QPR
A Queens Park Rangers team featuring Sandro, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Leroy Fer got the best of Alex Morris’ U21’s to run out 3-1 winners in London.
Crewe were unable to build on the impressive 5-3 victory over Watford at Gresty Road the week previous as QPR took control of the encounter.
The Brazilian Sandro opened the scoring for the hosts midway through the first half before Olamide Shodipo made it two just before the break.
Midway through the second period and The Alex deservedly fought back after a wave of pressure. Andre Brown felled in the box before picking himself up to dispatch the penalty - but Shodipo made the game safe 11 minutes from time to seal the victory.
