Lunt's side more than match for impressive Eagles
Crewe Alexandra Under 18's fought out an impressive 2-2 draw with U17 PDL2 South league leaders Crystal Palace at Reaseheath.The Eagles had only conceded one goal all season prior to the match, but Lunt's side have been in good form themselves - sitting top of the northern section.
Oli Finney gave The Alex the lead, but the visitors pegged back to 1-1.
Crewe continued to impress, with Tom Lowery the stand-out man in midfield dictating the game and Charlie Kirk made the pressure tell to notch his second of the season to make it 2-1.
But Crewe couldn't hang on as Palace grabbed a goal and a share of the spoils.
