“My only focus is the next game and that is how it has always been. I couldn’t even tell you how many games I played in my career or how times I took charge of Nantwich.
“The next game is always the most important one and all I am focussed on is achieving back-to-back results for Crewe. It was great to get that first win of the season last weekend and now it is important that we build on that.
The boss added: “The players are in a good place after the week they have had and hopefully we can take that into the game this weekend and get a positive result. “
