On loan Swansea hoping to keep his goal streak going to help the team to more points.
Despite the Alex still aiming for that first victory of the 2015/16 season, our on-loan midfielder Adam Kings says he is thoroughly enjoying the experience of being able to play competitive football.
King, 19, has made a promising start in senior football and the likable lad from Swansea City is leading the club’s goalscoring charts after scoring three goals in his first seven appearances.
King is on loan until early January and he appreciates that he has fight on his hands to keep his place in the team with five players gunning for three spots. Currently, Billy Bingham (hamstring) and James Jones (shoulder) are ruled out with injury.
Ahead of this weekend’s home encounter with Millwall, Adam told us: “We are all working hard for that first win and I think everyone who has seen the games can see that things haven’t quite gone for us.
“We have being doing our best to try and get that first win and the team is playing well without getting the results we probably deserve. I think we have got better every week and once it comes all together, I’m sure we will be fine.
“I am delighted with the way things have gone for me personally. I have settled in quickly and it is everything I wanted when I decided I wanted to come here. We try and play football in training and then take that into the game. I knew the Crewe style of play and that was one of the most reasons I came here.
“It has gone brilliantly for me with the experience I am getting and it will only benefit me as a player.
Adam added: “To have scored three goals is pleasing because it is an area of my game where I want to improve on. Hopefully I can get a few more and help the team pick up some points.”
