Skipper looking for clinical edge in squad
Crewe Alexandra Captain Harry Davis has called on his team mates to take their chances in key moments to help end the poor start to the season.
The Alex have yet to taste victory in 2015/16, but have been unlucky in a number of games not to secure a maximum haul.
Davis wants the team to iron out those game-defining moments and put in a complete performance to ensure a result against Millwall on Saturday.
He told Crewe Alex Player HD: “It’s just little defining moments that are going against us and we got punished for it on Saturday and that’s been the case throughout the season.
“Saturday is another big game of the season in our circumstance and we need three points and we’ll look forward to the game.
“We created a lot of chances against Swindon and now it’s a matter of putting more in the back of the net, all of us need to be more clinical.
“It’s a tough league and it’s getting tougher every year. We’ll keep going like we always do and try to put some points on the board.”
