Billy expected to return to training on Thursday after hamstring lay-off.
Billy Bingham is hoping to make a return to training on Thursday ahead of our weekend trip to high-flying Walsall. Bingham has missed the club’s last three games after aggravating his hamstring in the first half away at Wigan Athletic.
In his absence, the former Huddersfield midfielder Chris Atkinson has grabbed his chance and performed well in the club’s 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town.
Bingham joined the club on a free transfer from Dagenham and Redbridge and started the season in the starting line-up before his injury.
Manager Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “Billy is hoping to join in training on Thursday.
“He feels okay and was light training with us last week. It is good to have him back and he only increases my options amongst the squad.”
