Midfielder Billy Bingham improving daily from hamstring strain.
Crewe Alexandra midfielder Billy Bingham has stepped up his rehabilitation from his hamstring injury by joining in the training ground warm-up today. The summer signing from Dagenham and Redbridge suffered a hamstring strain away at Wigan Athletic and had to be replaced by Chris Atkinson in the 1-0 defeat at the DW Stadium.
Bingham will not be considered for this weekend’s trip to Shrewsbury but he is improving daily and could resume full training sometime next week.
James Collins told the club’s official web-site: “Billy has joined in with the warm-up today. He is not fit enough to resume full training yet but he is improving and he is not far off.
“When he is fit and back with us then that will help improve the squad.”
