appearance for the club at the Greenhous Stadium and Davis says it is time for our more experienced players to develop into leaders on-and-off the pitch. thAcademy graduate Turton is set to mark his 100

“We need more of Ollie’s type at the moment. He is one of those reliable players. You know what you will get with Ollie. He is steady rather than spectacular but you need those types in any team.

“He is an experienced player now. He is still relatively young but in terms of experience and games played he isn’t. He is not young in football terms and he has to show leadership qualities. It is the same with Brad. It is not natural for them but they can help the younger ones.

The boss added: “They have to push on and show that they are good enough to go on and play at a higher level. We have a few players at that stage of their careers now.”
