Kingsley Set For Scan

19 October 2015

Crewe's on-loan full-back to have X-ray on injured foot.

"We will know more once he has that X-Ray but tomorrow's game has come too soon whatever the damage. We have a few defenders out with injury at the moment but hopefully the back four can come together like they did at Barnsley and they can help us get a positive result again."

Steve told crewealex.net: "Stephen will go to the hospital this morning to assess the full extend of his foot injury. We are hopeful that he has not broken a bone and it is only a cut and bruising.

Kingsley will undergo a scan on his foot this morning to assess the full extend of his injury, but boss Steve Davis remains hopeful that he has only suffered severe bruising rather than a break. He will not play away at Burton Albion tomorrow night.

Crewe Alexandra are hopeful that their on-loan left-back Stephen Kingsley has not suffered a fractured foot. The Swansea City loanee was caught late by Gillingham winger Jermaine McGlashan in the club's narrow 1-0 defeat and had to be stretched off. He was replaced by James Baillie with Oliver Turton switching over to the left hand side.
