Davis Out For Between 6-8 Weeks

6 October 2015

Captain undergoes successful op on his knee but could now be out for up to two months.

Harry Davis is set to be out for two months after undergoing what has been deemed successful surgery on his knee. The club captain underwent an operation to remove some fragment from the knee and generally have a clean-up of the joint after he was recently  forced off against Walsall.

Davis is expected to be out for between 6-8 weeks with boss Steve Davis saying that he won’t rush him back as he wants him 100% fit for the second half of the campaign.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: "It's all cleared now, we're just waiting for it to settle down but the swelling has already gone down and it's looking much better.

"He's started to get some bend in it as well so he will start his rehab soon and building it back up.

"I imagine it will be between six and eight weeks, that will probably be fair.

He added: "Harry will probably want to come back in four because of what he's like."
