LDV returns from injury but Stephen Kingsley not quite there yet.
Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that he will check on the condition of striker Lauri Dalla Valle before deciding on his team for this weekend’s trip to Blackpool.
The Finnish striker missed Tuesday night’s 0-0 draw with Burton Albion after suffering a back injury against Gillingham but the injury has settled down this week and he has been able to resume training.
Steve told the club’s official web-site: “Lauri will train again today. His back has settled down well and he has improved enough to train today. If he comes through that then he will be under consideration for the squad.
“I will speak to him and see how he is. Lauri is an honest lad and he will know if he is feeling it or not. We twisted his back against Gillingham and it was sore for a few days afterwards.”
Meanwhile, this weekend’s trip to Bloomfield Road has come a little too early for Stephen Kingsley. The on-loan Swansea City full-back is improving but the soreness at the top of his foot is preventing him from striking the ball cleanly.
The Scotland Under-21 full-back is expected to train again on Monday.
