Midfielder back after hamstring frustration.
Crewe Alexandra midfielder Billy Bingham has returned to training this morning. The summer signing from Dagenham and Redbridge came through his fitness testing this week and will participate in this morning’s final session.
Bingham did suffer an early set-back in his rehab but he has now been given the all clear to train competitively again. Bingham has not featured since suffering a hamstring strain away at Wigan Athletic back in late August.
Manager Steve Davis told us: “Billy will train today but he has been out of a while now, so he will have to train for a week or so before we would consider him for an Under-21 game.
“To have him back fit will a bonus for us.
“It would be nice to have everyone back and to have that selection headache because I haven’t had that that luxury. I would see that as a luxury rather than a predicament because a full squad to choose from is what every manager wants. We have good players and the competition for places is good.
“We are getting a few back but we still have a few missing. “
