Club not given permission to play Harry Wilson in FA Cup Tie. Other three loanees granted permission.
Crewe Alexandra have not been granted permission to play Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson in the FA Cup but the club’s other three players are available.
. Swansea City have granted permission for Adam King and Stephen Kingsley to be available for this weekend’s home clash with Eastleigh, while FA Cup clearance was granted by Burnley when Danijel Nizic’s loan agreement was extended until January on Monday
With Liverpool recently employing Jurgen Klopp as their new manager, the Premier League side wanted the German coach to assess his entire squad before deciding on whether to allow their loan players to be cup-tied. As Wilson is on a youth loan here at Crewe, he is still permitted to play in Under-21 fixtures for his parent club.
Wilson is also set to miss next weekend’s away game at Bradford City after being called up by Wales Under-21s. Callum Saunders remains on stand-by for the same squad.
