Lowe: “I’m Here To Score Goals”

Ryan Relishing Opportunity to Impress in Crewe Shirt

New Crewe Alexandra loanee Ryan Lowe can't wait to get going again after returning to Gresty Road on a short-term deal from Bury.

The 37-year-old enjoyed a spell with The Alex from 2006-08 and making, over 65 appearances and has returned to try and help the Club move away from the foot of League One.

Having had limited playing time this season due to injury and the form of The Shakers' front-men, Lowey is "chomping at the bit" to get going and is hoping to feature at Colchester tomorrow night.

He told Crewe Alex Player HD: “It’s a big thing for me really being out for a few months and to come back to a Club like Crewe where I had two great seasons is great. I’m happy to be back.

“I’m quite a confident lad and I’ll settle in over a couple of days, the staff and everyone is the same and I’ve known Steve Davis for a number of years. Nothing changes, I’m here to do a job and hopefully that starts tomorrow.

“Without being too big-headed, it’s what I’ve done all my life. I’ve scored goals, but I know it’s a tough task coming to Crewe at the wrong end of the table but if I can help in any department, whether that be helping the lads on the pitch or off the pitch to give a little bit of experience.

“I’ve been brought in to score some goals and hopefully that starts very soon.”
