Lauri ruled out of Bantams trip with neck injury.
Crewe Alexandra have been dealt an injury blow with the news that Lauri Dalla Valle has been ruled out with an untimely neck injury. The Finnish striker suffered the injury this week in training when simply heading a ball and an X-Ray has shown slight damage to the base of the neck.
It is a blow for manager Steve Davis, who has already lost Marcus Haber and Harry Wilson due to International call-ups. The Alex boss has had to reconsider his attacking options ahead of our trip to Bradford City this weekend and the loss of Dalla Valle may prompt a change in system.
Steve told crewealex.net: “Lauri is out with a neck injury and it is unfortunate to have happened this week when Marcus and Harry are both away on International duty as well.
“It has left us a bit short of forwards and we may have to re-think a little to how we are going to approach things but it will give one or two players a chance to figure and we have to get on with it.
