Steve praises Brad for continuing to get up after being on the receiving end of some hefty tackles.
Crewe Alexandra boss has praised the character of Brad Inman after he was on the receiving end of some hefty challenges against Eastleigh on Saturday. Inman was certainly a target for the opposition and both Eastleigh defenders Jamie Turley and Joe Partington were cautioned for crude challenges on the Crewe forward.
Davis has praised Inman’s desire to continue to get up and get on the ball again and says that he has made great strides this season.
The Crewe boss told crewealex.net: “I didn’t think our players got enough protection on Saturday and that was disappointing because we had Ryan (Colclough) forced off with an injury and they kicked and threw Brad all over the pitch.
“The positive from our point of view was that Brad kept getting back up. He didn’t look for an excuse to not get on the ball and that shows how far he has come.
“He is improving his character and he wants to play in every game. He is confident at the moment and wants to help the team. It is great credit to him and the improvement he has made.”
